Description

(Thank you!)

This is the first painting done for my Painting II class. :3 I wish I could work on this longer but my teacher expects it to be done on Monday!
These are my plushies..So they have a different texture. I used artistic freedom a bit..especially for the background. XD
My camera killed the colors a little bit..but I tried fixing the brightness/contrast on here to match it like it does in person.

Tools Used: Canvas, Acrylic paints, sponge, toothbrush, water, paper towels and small to large paintbrushes.
Time taken: 10 hours
See how it's painted, here: [link]

I can def. see your textures are improving. Just like the Hello Kitty painting, I get the sense that these objects are soft and comfy. My personal opinion is that the shadows on the plushies themselves seem a bit harsh all around in the white areas. The Bijou plush also seems a bit "flat". It doesn't have a round quality to the body and face. Because the texture is evenly spread(again, the harshness) It doesn't give it enough form. It looks like it's soft, but it doesn't quite look 3 dimensional. I feel like if you keep this same "fuzzy" texture you are doing and vary it with the lighting in a more subtle way, you're paintings will have alot more dimension to them <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="=)" title="=) (Smile)"/>.
