I worked the longest on Cherubi out of the 4. ;w; Sort of a crossover, I guess..But with a random teddy bear in it. XD
Omg, I'm so tired...My back. sdkmdsakmslad Another painting for class.

Tools Used: Stretched canvas, Acrylic paints, toothbrush, water, paper towels and small to large paintbrushes.

I quite like the splattered texture and the time you spent on the Cherubi really shows.

I think my main advice would be to not be afraid in experimenting with complimentary colours to help achieve deeper, richer shadows rather than using analogous colours. So for the green mixing in a bit of purple/lavender and more in the teal range for the redder pinks.

For composition everything is fairly lined up and centered, which for a study like this isn't exactly a bad thing but it did leave a void down in that lower right corner. Rather than clustering perhaps experiment with different poses and positions to give objects more depth of field with one another as well as to break up the line. Have fun playing around with negative space.

Overall I think you did a nice job, especially in your experimentation with the splatter texture. That cerubi's body really does look soft and that Yoshi looks completely hug-able. I hope you keep doing these studies and practicing your painting.
